Leland Industries Expands into New Addition

Leland Industries Inc., a domestic producer of metal building fasteners since 1984, has added 50,000 square feet to its manufacturing plant and warehouse to meet growing demands for quality metal and post-frame building fasteners.

The addition was completed earlier in 2016, but work continued with equipment upgrades. New machines were installed and existing machines re-located, all the while maintaining production levels dictated by a demanding summer building season.

Leland, the first fastener manufacturer to introduce “powder coating” to match panel colors, increased capacity in this area by more than 60 percent to meet the demands of the industry.

Leland produces self-drilling and self-tapping screws in addition to bolts and nuts for agricultural storage and industrial building.
